Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Jans

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Jans, age 77 of Wautoma passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Waupaca. She was born on October 3, 1946 in Milwaukee to John and Delores (Beck) Kuhn. After high school she attended UW Milwaukee to become an artist. She was two classes away from her Degree when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She continued her love of painting until MS would not allow her to paint. On August 21, 1990 she married Roger Jans in Milwaukee. The couple later moved to Wautoma to enjoy retirement. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family.

Kathy is survived by her husband: Roger Jans; children: James McGuigan, John McGuigan, Jeff (Caitlin) McGuigan , Jennifer McGuigan; grandchildren: Mandy, Steven, Jeff Jr., Nathan, Angie, Uriah; great grandchildren; brother: Mike Steringer; sister: Susan (David) Ackmann; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Jessica McGuigan and son: Joseph McGuigan.
