Kathleen Akowski

Kathleen M. Akowski, age 76, formerly of Wautoma, passed away early Friday morning, January 29, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

She was born February 25, 1944 in Rice Lake, the daughter of Leslie Thomas and Catherine Ann (Egerstoffer) Jones. Kathleen was employed as a Real Estate Agent and Broker with Century 21 Realty  in Racine until her retirement in 1995.

She is survived by her five children, David Wilson, Fond du Lac, Brian (Kathy) Wilson, Taswell, Indiana, Teresa (Dave) Brinkman, Green Lake, Robert (Cherrie) Wilson, Ripon, Kelly (Elizabeth) Wilson, Gainesville, Florida; two stepsons, Dave Akowski and Jim Akowski; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (David) Brown, Wautoma; one brother, John Jones, Wautoma. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 12 Noon at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Pastor Andrew Bollant of Crossroads Family Church officiating. Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Neshkoro.

Visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
