Katherine Pemble

Katherine E. (Kitty) Pemble was born July 8, 1923 in Timonium, Maryland and fell asleep peacefully in death on December 12, 2010 at the residence of Roy Pemble, her son, where she had been living.
She was the third of sixteen children born to Edward and Ella Mary (Pace) Lewis. Katherine married Richard Pemble on August 5, 1945 in Fork, Maryland.
They moved from Illinois to Wautoma in 1969. They were blessed with three children, Rodney, Cathy and Roy. To all she was fondly known as Kitty. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God and spent her entire life devoted to the Bible teaching work she so loved. Her desire was that all would have the wonderful hope that God's Kingdom promises to bring to the earth. She was known for her smile, her giggle and the many interesting experiences that she had.
She is survived by her children, Rodney (Mary) Pemble, Gainsville, MO., Cathy (Gerald) Siebert, Wild Rose, Roy (Sandy) Pemble, Wautoma; Her grandchildren, Sarah (Mike) Burger, Florida, Crystal (Josh) Walton, Springfield, MO., Jacob (Heidi) Pemble, Blue Mound, MO., Jessie Pemble, Springfield, MO., Robert (Tracie) Snider, Amherst, Matthew (Rochelle) Pemble, Oshkosh, Lisa (Mike) Rhode, Baraboo, Amanda (Rick) Stafford, Wautoma; her great grandchildren, Sean, Seth, Alissa, Olivia, Carrie and Kyle. She is also survived by her remaining brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and several brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Wautoma. The Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma assisted the family with arrangements.
