Julie Ann Allison Wittrock of Liberty Home, 109 4th Street, Nekoosa WI. passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening at Riverview Hospital, WI Rapids, WI.
She was born August 7, 1947 in WI Rapids, WI., the daughter of Millard "Windy" and Zella Gackowski Allison. Julie attended the one room schools of Pole Bridge and Rothermel and graduated from Tri County High School, Plainfield WI. Julie began her career with Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company. She experienced the numerous changing and challenging aspects of the paper companies through her employment in the traffic department. The many years of being with the paper company Julie developed many close relationships with fellow employees and customers whom she shall forever hold in her heart.
Julie married Lawrence "Woodie" Wittrock and together they enjoyed and enthusiastically loved their various dogs, family, friends, camping, NASCAR "The Earnhardts", Brewers, Badgers and "The PACKERS". They traveled to many races, games and camping excursions. They also experienced the challenges and suspense of being a winner, be it a game, race, roll of the dice, cards or just plain pushing buttons.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Zella Allison, brother in law, Vernon Laporte, and husband "Woodie" Wittrock. She is survived by; sister, Sharon Laporte, Aunt, Norma Allison, nephews: Andre (Wanda Morris)Laporte, Lamar (Lorna) Laporte, Robb (Mary) Jung, niece, Tami Koch, sister-in-laws, Mary (Larry) Jung, Donna (Dennis) Kroll, brother, Richard "Dick" Wittrock, Great nephews, Tristan and Payton Laporte, God-children twins Megan and Travis Jung. There are also many other FRIENDS and FAMILY who have shared their time, concerns and care for Julie.
SPECIAL recognition and THANKS to Care Giver Dorothy "Dottie" Yeager and staff for the wonderful loving kindness, encouragement and general care she provided for Julie at Liberty Home/Hilltop Homes.
The LIFE of JULIE ANN was memorialized on Sunday August 26, 2012, with visitation at 9-11 AM followed by a SHARING of remembrances by, Cousin Rev. Gary Hilgendorf at 11:00 a.m., in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Hwy 73 Plainfield WI. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery on E Townline Road, WI Rapids after the service.
