Judith "Judy" Schulz

Judith “Judy” R. Schulz, age 71, of Wautoma (formerly of Oak Creek), passed away peacefully Thursday morning, December 30, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh.

She was born June 25, 1950 in West Allis, the daughter of Frank and Jeanette (Zitzke) Nowak. She married Everett A. Schulz on April 4, 1970 at Nain Lutheran Church in West Allis.

Judy was a 1968 graduate of West Milwaukee High School. She was employed as an Archive Specialist at Krones, Inc. of Franklin, WI for 26 years. Later, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for Cooperative Care in Wautoma. Judy loved entertaining family, friends and sitting on the deck at her Lake Irogami home. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, shopping and being with her grandchildren. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma. Judy belonged to Coloma Country Quilters, Pine Needlers Quilting Club and Elk Mound Friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Everett A. Schulz, Wautoma; one son: Scott (Kim) Schulz, Oak Creek; one daughter: Wendy (Matt) Fluegge, Sun Prairie; six grandchildren: Leah and Jake Schulz, Justin (Kelly) Fluegge-Elmer, Eric (fiancée Aly), Megan, and Holly Fluegge; two brothers: John (Mary) Nowak, Muskego, Rick (Karen) Nowak, Elkhorn; sisters-in-law: Audrey Nowak, Oak Creek, Eunice (Rolland) Menk, Lake City, MN, Jane Corman, Milwaukee; brother-in-law: Wayne (Roxy) Schulz, Binghamton, NY. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Thomas Nowak; and by her sister-in-law: Joan Nowak.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev. Steven Tews officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
