Judith Ann (Schwersinske) Bauer, also known as Judy, passed away on April 7th, 2024 in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, at the age of 83. She was born on November 11, 1940, in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin.
Judy had a fulfilling career, starting at the phone company “Ma Bell” where she counted the coins from phone booths. She later worked at Briggs and Stratton as a small engine assembly worker for 30 years before retiring. In her free time, Judy enjoyed a variety of hobbies including cooking, sewing, crafts, crocheting, knitting, cake decorating and traveling both internationally and domestically. Other pass times were enjoying local and regional plays along with her Green Bay Packers. She was also very active in the Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association and enjoyed making chocolates and other goodies for Grace United Methodist Church.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children: Julie (Mark) Blake, Jeffrey (Linda) Bauer, and Theodore (Tammy) Bauer. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Theodore Bauer; her parents; sisters; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law, niece and nephew.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Saturday, June 1st, at 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association or Disabled American Veterans Association.
