Juanita "Nitz" Marie (Reid) McDowell
Juanita "Nitz" Marie (Reid) McDowell who was born Feb. 8, 1933 in Plainfield, WI, passed to eternal rest on June 29, 2012 at Wild Rose Manor Nursing Home in Wild Rose, WI, at the age of 79.
Juanita's loving family includes: Mother Flora (Elliott) Reid, her 4 Children: Tom (Cheryl) Murray and family, Scott (Lea) Murray and family, Rod (Peggy) Murray and family, Paula (Murray) (Ritch) Roosmalen and family. She is also survived by former husband Paul Murray.
Juanita is further survived by Brothers and Sister: Bob Reid of TN, Dick (Martha Ann) Reid and family's of ID and ND, Marirose (Reid) & Don Hilpipre and family of WI, Phil Reid and family of WI. Sister in-law Jean Reid and family of WI, as well as her extended families of Mata of WI/TX, McDowell of MT. Reid & Carl families of ID. Other family in WI, ND, MN & MT and many friends.
Family members that have passed before Juanita include her father Ora Reid of MT, step-brother Mark Reid & half-brother Terry Reid of MT and sister in-law MaryAnn (Mock/Reid) Burtch of ND. Her former husbands Encarnacion John Mata of WI/TX and Donald McDowell of MT also passed on before her.
Juanita loved her families. She enjoyed her 6 Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles and doing family genealogy. She had the good fortune to have lived in Texas, Idaho, and Montana. Juanita will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home Plainfield, WI Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 3:00pm. Inurnment will be at Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield, WI on a date yet to be determined.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00pm until the time of services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
