Joseph Coy Weedman, age 29, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, after suffering an aneurysm.
He was born July 2, 1984 in Wild Rose, the son of Jerome C. "Jerry" and Kathleen A. "Katie" (Hughes) Weedman.
Joe was a 2002 graduate of Wautoma High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Madison. He was employed in sales. Joe was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed sports especially, the Badgers and Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Katie Weedman, Wautoma; two sisters, Kelly (Michael) Thoemke, St. Paul, MN, Anna (Brian) Johnson, Minneapolis, MN; his nephew, Cameron Johnson; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Hughes Henriksen, Beaver Dam. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luverne and Mary
Weedman; maternal grandfather, Thomas W. Hughes; and by two uncles, Thomas Weedman and Michael Weedman.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at
Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Blaine O. Niskanen officiating.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Memorial is being established for a scholarship at Wautoma High School.
