John G. Krupela, age 94, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday morning, March 14, 2015 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born February 20, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the son of Joseph and Anna (Kopala) Krupela. He married the former Harriet R. Hedberg on May 31, 1942 in Chicago. She preceded him in death on February 7, 1996. John was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Northern France and Rhineland, Germany during World War II. He is survived by two sons, John J. (Betty) Krupela, Butternut, WI and Richard T. Krupela, Wautoma; two grandsons, Jason (Desiree) Krupela, Miami, FL, and Damon (Dawn) Krupela, Belton, TX; one great grandson, Jason Krupela Jr. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Anna Warzynski; three brothers, Michael "Gabby" Krupela, Alex Krupela, and Walter Krupela. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with Rev. David Greskowiak officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
