JoAn E. (Menning) Connelly, age 73, of Wautoma, formerly of Black River Falls passed away into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 after a
courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 21, 1937, the daughter of Albert and Elsie (Spencer) Menning. JoAn was employed for 35 years at Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. JoAn loved her family deeply and especially enjoyed all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by four children, Dyanne Cox (Jeff), Milwaukee, Dawn Osborn (Arnie) Big Bend, David Jelden (Lauretta) Billings, Montana, and Denice Sentz (Mike) Palmyra; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three loving sisters; two loving brothers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Jelden; one daughter, Deana Connelly; her parents; two brothers, and one sister. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Vicki H. Marxen officiating.
