Jessie Gerard, age 85, of Arborwood Lodge went to her heavenly reward January 29, 2013, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Jessie was the daughter of Alvin and Alta (Bishop) Mussey. She married Carl R. Gerard on June 2, 1944, in Coloma, Wisconsin. She is survived by five children: Carla (Dave) Kedrowski of Washburn, WI; Charles (Chuck) of Hiawatha, IA; Dennis (Brenda) of Wis. Rapids, WI; Mary (Roy) Urban of Wis. Rapids, WI; and Raymond (Laura) of Plainfield, WI, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband Carl, sisters Edna Mae Schronk and Alice Mularkey, daughters Jane Ann and Cheryl Conley, grandson Jason Gerard and granddaughter Traci Urban.
Jessie farmed for many years in the town of Plainfield. She worked at Marge's Café and Plainfield Truckstop as well as Melk's Glad Farm. She especially enjoyed her family, gardening and was an avid card player.
Services will be at 11 am, Sunday February 3. Visitation will be from 9 am until time of services at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield, WI.
