Jeanette E. Sturgul, 86, of Neshkoro passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Patriot Place Assisted Living in Berlin, WI. She was born September 22, 1936 in the Town of Dakota, Waushara County, the daughter of Millard and Loretta (Streich) Draves. Jeanette was the oldest of five girls that were raised on the Draves family farm. She married Thomas Sturgul on June 23, 1962, in Wautoma. He preceded her in death on October 22, 1995. Jeanette worked in Ripon for the Phone Company, and in Fond du Lac for the Retlaw Hotel and the Sharpe Clinic. She moved to Neshkoro in 2001 following her retirement from the Sharpe Clinic. Mrs. Sturgul was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Neshkoro.
Jeanette is survived by two sons: Scott (Susan) Sturgul, Milton, and Steven Sturgul, Wautoma; three grandchildren: Tanner, Chase, Danielle Sturgul; sisters: Janis Okon, Oshkosh and Barbara Blader, Wautoma; brothers-in-law: Marvin Mischka, Chet (Ardys) Fenner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Arlene Fenner and Marion Mischka; two brothers-in-law: James Blader and Donald Okon and sister-in-law: Mary Ann Sturgul.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11AM at Zion United Methodist Church, Neshkoro with the Rev. Larry Rieck officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of services at 11AM at the church. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Wautoma.
The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at Patriot Place and ProMedica Heartland Hospice for their care of Jeanette.
