Janice R. Mason

Janice Rae Mason, age 86, of Neshkoro, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Monday morning, June 26, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 10, 1936 in West Allis, the daughter of Fred and Viola (Schultz) Reschke. She married Gordon E. Mason on November 19, 1955   at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church in West Allis.

Janice was a graduate of West Milwaukee High School. She was employed in the business office at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for many years until her retirement. Janice worked at the former Curves at the CAPsell building in Wautoma. She also volunteered at the Berlin Memorial Hospital. Janice loved spending time on the deck at their beloved home    on the shores of Hidden Springs Lake.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 67 years, Gordon E. Mason, Neshkoro; her children: Brian (Tami) Mason, West Allis, Dawn (Mike) Goetsch, Hartford, Diane Mason, Neshkoro; four grandchildren: David (Kallyn) Mason, Amanda (Tyler) Bradley, Danielle (Eric) Weisenberger and Tyler Goetsch; seven loving great grandchildren: Travis, Conner, Palmer, twins Garrett & GracieJo, Ozric and Josslyn; one sister: Judy Walsberg, St. Charles, Illinois; brother-in-law: Clarence (Margaret) Mason, Greenfield. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Mason; her parents; and by one sister, Joan Snyder.

Private family services will be held with entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. The Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma is assisting the family with arrangements. www.leiknessfuneralhome.com
