James “Jim” Victor Hansen, age 74 of Wautoma, became one of God’s Angels on February 5, 2021 having fought courageously these past few months with colon cancer, his son Joshua and grandson Bryce gave their love and support to “Go in Peace”. He was born in Stevens Point on April 17, 1946 to Carroll “Cal” and Lottie (Ward) Hansen. After high school, Jim joined the Army Reserve, served 23 years and retired from the 1st Battalion 274th Regiment at the rank of 1st Sergeant. He worked and retired from Mid-State Abstract & Title. Spending most of his adult life in Wautoma, Jim was active in the Boy Scouts and other youth activities. He was a member of the NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation), Kiwanis. He was a member and past Worshipful Master of Wautoma Masonic Lodge 148 F. & A. M. He enjoyed watching the Packers, hunting, fishing, camping, bird watching, his fish tanks, corvettes and spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his children: Joshua Hansen, Carina Hansen; grandchildren: Bryce Hansen, Elizabeth Spang, Abby Smogoleski; sisters: Carol (Bill) Rosz, Sue (Roy) Kortz; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
