James “Jim” P. Fowler, age 81, of Wautoma, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.
He was born December 14, 1939 in Milwaukee, the son of Roy Leo and Eleanor (Banach) Fowler. He married Sandra S. Sohns on May 5, 1962 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford, WI.
Jim was employed as a pipefitter at Wenninger Heating & Air Conditioning in Milwaukee for many years until his retirement. He and his wife moved from Milwaukee to rural Wautoma in 2003. An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoyed hunting pheasants and deer. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Fowler; four children, Roy (Mary) Fowler, Neshkoro, Patrick Fowler, Wautoma, Mary Jane (Rod) Longstreet, Burlington, Suzanne (Paul) Dolata, Ripon; grandchildren, Tifany (David) Wolover, Benjamin Longstreet, Savannah Longstreet, Jacob (Savannah) Longstreet, Veronica Longstreet, Maria Longstreet, Bradley Dolata, and Caitlin Dolata; one great granddaughter, Olive Wolover; one sister-in-law, Esther Fowler, Genesee Depot, WI, two brothers-in-law, Roger Davis, Cudahy and Nelson (Patty) Sohns, Burlington. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marilyn Davis; and by one brother, Thomas Fowler.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with Rev. William Evans officiating. He was laid to rest at Dakota South Cemetery, Township of Dakota. If desired, memorials to Agnesian Hospice, 745 South Street, Green Lake, WI 54941 would be appreciated.
