James Jamrosz

James "Jim" Jamrosz, age 64, of Wild Rose, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from colon cancer. He was born November 14, 1945 in Stevens Point the son of Frank P. and Tillie (Bronk) Jamrosz.James attended St. Peters Catholic Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1964. He worked at Joerns during and after graduation after which he worked at Nekoosa-Port Edwards Paper Mill. He moved to Chicago with his wife, Dorothy Hoppa in 1969 and worked at A-N Parts and Service for the next 34 years as a commercial Washer and Dryer Serviceman. His last four years he lived and worked in Antioch, Illinois at Wal-Mart. James and Dorothy were married at St. Bronislava Church in Plover on May 29, 1965. They had four children, Michelle (Jamrosz) Badger, Antioch, IL., the late Paul Ian Jamrosz, Timothy J. Jamrosz, Brownsburg, IN., and James J. Jamrosz, Elmwood, Park, IL. He was preceded in death by his son Paul I. Jamrosz, a brother Frank Jamrosz, Jr., a sister, Dianne (Jamrosz) Nicholson, his parents, Frank P. and Tillie (Bronk) Jamrosz; nephew, William Linn; and by his brother-in-law, Robert Hoppa. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Jamrosz; his daughter, Michelle, sons, Timothy (Lisa) Jamrosz, James (Kathy) Jamrosz; six grandchildren, Timothy D. Jamrosz, Jeremy P. Jamrosz, Derek C. Badger, Hannah M. Badger, Ian T. Wiest and Adam K. Wiest; three great grandchildren, Kaylee Jamrosz, Kenzie Jamrosz and Elyse Badger.; two brothers, Ernest (Sandie) Jamrosz, Ronald (Carole) Jamrosz; two sisters, Shirley (Roger) Krayecki, Rosie (Robert) Kielezewski; further survived by other relatives and friends. James was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. The memories he left us will be carried in our hearts forever.

Private family services are pending. The Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma assisted the family with arrangements.
