Jacquelin "Jackie" Voorheis

Jacquelin “Jackie” L. Voorheis, age 91, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully Friday, April 4, 2025 at Silver Lake Haven in Wautoma.

She was born September 28, 1933 in Aurora, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Mary (Foltz) Schenk. She married Darrell M. Voorheis on October 16, 1951 in San Diego, California. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2012.

Jackie and her late husband resided in Batavia, Illinois before moving to Wautoma in 1979. She was secretary at the former Wautoma Assembly of God, now Crossroads Family Church for a number of years. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Jackie is survived by four children: Thomas “Tom” Voorheis, Wautoma, Rebecca “Becky” (Steve) Anderson, Las Vegas, Nevada, Teresa (Art) Clark, Janesville, Patricia “Patty” (Jason) Mickelsen, Fond du Lac; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Irma Lipke, New Berlin. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Arlene Johnson; one brother, Ron Schenk.
