Jacob Lucas, age 24, of rural Hancock, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday morning, March 12, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.
He was born February 25, 1989 in Wild Rose, the son of Richard D. and Jody L. (Czlapinski) Lucas.
Jacob had many interests, especially playing bass guitar, shooting pool and spending time with his daughter. He was employed at Owen Rock Cranberry.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Jody Lucas; his loving daughter, Arianna Lucas; his sisters and brother, Susan (Tim) Baird, Marsha (Mark) Thrift, Adam Lucas; his paternal grandfather, Peter Lucas; maternal grandparents, Larry and Shirley Czlapinski; nieces and nephews, Tisan, Macy, Dakota, Mackenzie, Garald, Andrea, Rachel and Payton; further survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Stella Lucas, cousin Jamie Saeger and uncle, Jonathan Lucas.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with the Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating. Burial will be in the Colburn/Leola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.
