Isabell E. Kemnetz, age 94, of Hancock, passed away Wednesday morning, October 16, 2013 at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma.
She was born February 13, 1919 east of Harrisville, the daughter of Edward and Tillie (Duesterhoeft) Briese. She married Vilas E. Kemnetz on September 6, 1936. He preceded her in death on November of 1975.
Mrs. Kemnetz farmed with her husband in the town of Hancock for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors especially working in her flowers and gardening.
Isabell is survived by her children, Carol (David) Fowler, Hancock, Janet (Paul) Galetka, FL., Delmer (Nancy) Kemnetz, Hancock, Keith (Diane) Kemnetz, Hancock; 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon (Sue) Briese, Pleasant Prairie, Herbert Briese, Westfield; sister-in-law, Elda Briese; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Darwin and two sisters, Irene Briese and Eldena Wruck.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with the Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating.
