Irvin Heller

November 15, 1916 — December 14, 2013

Irvin V. Heller, age 97, of Wautoma, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Heartland House in Wautoma.
He was born November 15, 1916 in Cobb, WI the son of George and Edna (Bowes) Heller. He married the former Iva Jane Anderson on June 1, 1942 at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on November 18, 1982. He married Dorothy (Wilcox) Glunn on August 9, 1992 in Wautoma. She passed away on January 29, 2013.
Irvin attended UW-Whitewater where he participated in football and track. He served his country in the Army during World War II from 1943 until 1945. He was Assistant Vice President and Manager of Union State Bank in Redgranite for 33 years until his retirement.
Irv was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma Masonic Lodge #148 F & A.M., Zor Shrine of Madison, Mascoutin Mavericks, and the Highland Shrine of Sebring, Florida. He also belonged to the Lions Club, VFW, American Legion, and Wisconsin Bankers Association. Irv was a lifetime member of Waushara Country Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Ann (Jon) Wilcox, Wautoma, Beth (David) Stelter, Wautoma; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Wilcox, Jennifer Wilcox, Allison (Andrew) Hinkelman, and Darren (Kristin) Stelter; six great grand- children, Alexandra and Jaina Koerner, Cole and Ella Hinkelman, Gavin and Mackenzie Stelter; two nieces, Patricia Glinski and Susan Bandt; one nephew, Robert (Donna) Bandt. He is further survived by Dorothy's children, Bonnie (Tom) Monacelli, Terri Boucier and her husband Dave Steinbach, and Lori (Jay) Andres.
He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Andrea Beth Wilcox; his parents; his in-laws, James and Myrtle Anderson; and by his sister-in-law, Gertrude Bandt and her husband, Edwin Bandt.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. Burial will be in Hope Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Church on Sunday from
2:00 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in his memory.
