Howard Anton Jung, age 83, of Wautoma passed away Thursday morning, November 10, 2011 at Heartland House CBRF in Wautoma.
He was born April 28, 1928 in Milwaukee, the son of Anton and Margaret (Scholz) Jung. He married Benita "Buni" Clark on June 14, 1952 in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on February 7, 1996.
Howard was the owner/operator of Jung Transportation in Milwaukee. Upon his retirement, he and his wife Buni settled in Wautoma on Silver Lake. Howard enjoyed relaxing on the lake, fishing and being around animals. He also enjoyed leisurely drives along the countryside with his wife and watching western and scary movies with his daughter. His sense of humor and calm demeanor will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Howard is survived by his daughter Susan (William) McNellis of Wautoma; one sister-in-law Corky Bedore-Ruedinger, two nieces, Cheryl Andersen and Denise Guthrie; nephews Jeff (Eileen) Durr and Rick (Linda) Andersen, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Howard Jung will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 4:00pm in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Village of Neshkoro Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00pm until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
