Herbert Tibbetts

Herbert F. Tibbetts, age 76, of Plainfield, passed away early Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2011. He was born August 5, 1935 in Plainfield, the son of Fred and Rose (Bender) Tibbetts. A lifelong Plainfield resident, he farmed the family homestead in the Town of Plainfield for many years until his retirement. Herb enjoyed
hunting and restoring John Deere tractors. He is survived by one son, Bob Tibbetts, Plainfield; one daughter, Jane Tibbetts, Plover; five grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, and Maci Tibbetts, Zachary Mutz, and Lauren Alber; one great grandson, Mason Tibbetts; one brother, Bernard Tibbetts, Wisconsin Rapids. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Tibbetts, his parents, and by numerous brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield with Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
