Henry "Hank" Weiss

Henry “Hank” Walter Weiss, age 90 of Wautoma passed away Sunday morning, October 27, 2019 at Pathways Hospice, Loveland, CO. He was born July 27, 1929 in Allenton, WI to Walter G. & Margaret (Mueller) Weiss.  He married Nancy Louise Haertlein on August 11, 1951 in Milwaukee. Hank attended West Bend High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts Education and later a Master’s degree in Audio-Visual Education.  He taught Industrial Arts to high school students in Wautoma from 1955 until his retirement in 1989. Hank loved woodworking, gardening, bird watching, golf and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma.

Hank is survived by his children; Charles (Barbara) Weiss, Watertown, Donna (Josef) Watts, Saratoga Springs, NY, Donald (Mary Ann) Weiss, Fort Collins, CO, Steven (Rebecca) Weiss, Wautoma, Michael (Sharon) Weiss, Wautoma, and Katherine Norman, Wautoma; 11 grandchildren, Charla Weiss (Matthew Bosworth),San Diego, CA, Adam (Kristine) Weiss, Waukesha, WI, Peter Watts, Brooklyn, NY, Paul Watts, Boston, MA, Colleen (James) Ramirez, Fort Collins, CO, Karen (Ryan) Hennings, Fort Collins, CO, Christopher (Jalyn) Weiss, Las Cruces, NM, Carrie (Aaron) Lutter, Oak Creek, WI, Melissa (Shane) Weiss-Kozlowski, Stevens Point, WI, Benjamin (Melissa) Weiss, Green Bay, WI and Nathan Norman, Huntington Beach, CA; 12 great grandchildren: Nolan Weiss, Bryson Weiss, Avery Ramirez, Bradley Hennings, Noble Weiss, Marvel Weiss, Seth Lutter, Gabriel Lutter, Isaac Lutter, Joshua Weiss, Gabriel Weiss, Elizabeth Weiss; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Nancy; brothers: Melvin (Peg) Weiss, Raymond (Elaine) Weiss; sisters: Erma (Lyle) Landvatter, Myrtle (Fred) Butenhoff, Gladys (Carl) Suchow and one great-granddaughter: Ann Kathryn Weiss.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM.
