Harold Wedell

Harold Arthur Wedell, age 81 of Wautoma, passed away Saturday morning, April 27, 2013 at Wild Rose Hospital after a brief illness.
Harold was born on May 8, 1931 in Wautoma to Arthur and Lena (Kromrie) Wedell. Harold was a life-long farmer and confirmed bachelor. After retiring from the family farm in Wautoma, he continued to hobby farm, raising flowers and vegetables. Harold loved to farm, care for his animals, work on machinery and listen to polka music.
Harold is survived by his brothers: Chester (LaVila) Wedell, Wautoma, Arnold (Diane) Wedell, New Berlin; sisters: Adeline (Keith) Brown, Slinger, Joyce Eggart, Waukesha; special cousin: Margery Richter (nee: Otto), Aurora, CO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma with burial in Wautoma Union Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10am until the time of service at 11am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
