Harland D. Yonke, age 75, of Hancock, formerly of Mukwonago, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his residence.
He was born December 9, 1935, the son of Arthur and Minnie (Adams) Yonke. He married Linda Droste on October 1, 1960. She preceded him in death on August 21, 2004.
Harland served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed in London, England. After his service to his country, he worked for Crown, Cork and Seal for over 37 years as a serviceman and salesman. Harland enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and many friends, as well as hunting.
He is survived by his three daughters; Laurene J. Yonke, Dawn M. (Rick) Schwenn and Pamela S. (Nick) Guida; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Norman (Verna) Yonke, one sister, Mina (Ed) Miller, one step-brother Ron (Anne) Lillyroot, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers Leland, Marvin and Bernard Yonke.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 12:00 NOON in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. He will be laid to rest with full military honors next to his wife in the Hancock Cemetery
Relatives and Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of services at the funeral home.
