Harland Semrow

April 10, 1929 — December 17, 2010

Harland E. Semrow, age 81, of Wautoma, passed away December 17, 2010 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah with his family by his side.
He was born April 10, 1929 in the Town of Dakota, Waushara County, the son of Reinhold and Ethel (Marcy) Semrow. He married Donna Henke on March 25, 1951 in Neshkoro.
Harland retired after 32 years of truck driving in the Milwaukee area and returned to his homestead in the Town of Dakota. Harland was a very genuine man who enjoyed socializing with everyone and life in general.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna (Henke) Semrow, Wautoma; his sons, Mark (Joan) Semrow, Jackson, Paul (Deb) Semrow, Wautoma, David Semrow, Wautoma, John Semrow, West Allis; his grandchildren, Chad (Jenny) Semrow, Jackson, Shane (Lindsey Pietrazak) Semrow, Westfield, Neal Semrow, Jackson, Tyler (Kelly) Semrow, Omro; great grandchildren, Alexis Semrow, Claire Semrow, Kenna Semrow, Finn Semrow; further survived by other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Alice (Al) Acker.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma with the Rev. Blaine O. Niskanen officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota Cemetery, Town of Dakota, Waushara County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Harland's name.
