Goldie Lenore Warzynski, age 96 of King, formerly of Wautoma, died on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. She was born on November 5, 1921 in Andes, MT to Ingval and Anna (Jensen) Gabrielson. After high school, Goldie enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943 and was honorably discharged in 1945. On June 22, 1946 she married Fred Warzynski in Sidney, MT. Goldie enjoyed quilting, gardening and reading. She volunteered at the County Cupboard for many years and was a faithful, active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Goldie is survived by her children: Lawrence (Katherine) Warzynski, Kathleen (Frank) Mau, Thomas (Arlene) Warzynski, Timothy (Lorie) Warzynski, Christopher (Gary Godding) Warzynski, Les (Sarah Steuck) Warzynski, Nora (Don) Losh; son-in-law: Al Mau; 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Fred Warzynski; daughter: Margaret Mau; two sisters: Jewel Sorenson, Mary Johnson and three brothers: Grant, Clifton and Martin Gabrielson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 5-7PM at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma and again on Saturday at church from 9AM until the time of Mass at 10AM. Military Honors and burial will take place at Hope Cemetery, Town of Belmont, Heffron, following the Funeral Mass.
