Gloria Bottoni
July 22, 1927 — March 5, 2016
Gloria L. Bottoni joined her beloved husband and life-long friend Archie on March 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by Carl Oscar (father) and Ella Louise (mother), sister Lois, and brothers Al and Doug. She was the loving mother of Gary (Julie), Jill (Keith Alioto) and Jean (Jim Sutter); grandmother of Jason (Nicole), Tony, Tegan, Tim, Elise (Keith) and Joe; step-grandmother of Jeff and Michelle (Jared); great-grandmother of August and Caspian; and step-great-grandmother of Hayley, Taylor, and Iyana.
Mom loved the summer, the views from her lake home, reading, knitting, making cut-glass keepsakes and following politics. She was a Life Member of the VFW Auxiliary and an award-winning volunteer at King's Veteran Home. She ardently supported the Humane Society of the U.S. and scrupulously fed the birds.
Interment with Archie ("together forever", as was their wish) will be a family affair at the Union Grove Veteran's Cemetery.
