Geraldine Boesler

Geraldine R. Boesler, age 86, of Coloma, passed away Thursday morning, May 1, 2014, at Heartland House in Wautoma.She was born June 27, 1927 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Ernest and Mary (Bednar) Ernser Sr. She married Robert F. Boesler on February 2, 1946 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2004.She and her late husband resided in Milwaukee for many years before moving to Coloma in 1961. Geraldine was employed by Greenly Trees of Coloma where she sheared Christmas trees and made wreaths. Later, she worked for Coloma Farms grading and packaging potatoes until her retirement.She is survived by two daughters, Judy (John) Kopach, Coloma, Lisa (Rodney) Bohn, Neshkoro; five grandchildren, Terri (Rich) Jackson,Coloma, Sue (Ed) Hintz, Coloma, Karen (Ken) Lewko, Coloma; Quentin (Jen) Bohn, Lake Forest, CA, Rachel (Jim) Schinkowitch, Fond du Lac;four great grandchildren, Sami (Mike) Decorah, Trevor Jackson, John Lewko, and Zach Hintz; two great-great granddaughters, Averie and Peyton Decorah. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kurt Boesler; three brothers, Roland, Ernest Jr., Carroll; and by two sisters,Lucille and Ethyl. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. Interment will be at Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Coloma. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
