Gerald "Gerry" Michael Adams

Gerald "Gerry" Michael Adams, age 75 of Coloma passed away on February 20, 2025 at Silver Lake Manor, Wautoma. He was born on March 2, 1949 in Oak Park, IL to Ray and Minnie (Picollotti) Adams and grew up in Chicago. Gerry graduated from St. Patrick High School then attended Tech School where he earned his Electrical Technician degree. He worked for Hawthorn Electric (Western Electric) for many years which paved the way for a long career in Quality Control with Wand Tool and Sellstrom Manufacturing. After semi retiring and moving to Wisconsin in 2002, he worked in home construction for several years. Gerry then drove bus for the Westfield School District for 13 years, fully retiring in 2017.

Gerry met the the love his life , Vicki King in 1979 and they were united in marriage on April 4, 1987 in Arlington Heights, IL. Devoted to his entire family, he was an excellent role model to his 2 sons, Kevin Michael born on April 10, 1990 and Ryan Patrick, born on December 18, 1991, supporting all their endeavors, never missing an important event. Handy and creative, Gerry loved projects, especially those that included his boys. Happy to travel, Gerry enjoyed trips that were designed around togetherness and made sure there was plenty of fun and adventure for everyone.

Gerry loved the lake life since his parents first bought the house on Pleasant Lake in Coloma back in 1965. Spending any spare time in Wisconsin, he enjoyed water skiing and boating, hunting and fishing, snowmobiling and hanging with friends and family.

Gerry will be missed dearly by everyone, his death leaves a void but memories of him will live on.

Gerry is survived by his loving wife: Vicki Adams; son: Kevin (Crystal) Adams; grandson: Colvin Adams; sister: Sandra (Vince) Clarke; his in-laws: Wally and Fern King; brother-in-law: Mitch (Rose) King; sister-in-law: Mary Pat Adams; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Ryan Adams and brother: Raymond "Skip" Adams.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
