Gayla Beth Jorgensen, age 82, of Wautoma, passed away unexpectedly with her family at her side on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston, due to an Aortic Arterial Aneurysm. She was born August 8, 1929 at Irving, WI the daughter of Phillip and Gayla (Davis) Nutter. She married Duane P. Jorgensen on May 27, 1950 in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2004. Beth will be fondly remembered for her love of her family and friends. She had the opportunity to meet Clinton Anderson in Madison, a widely known horse trainer with her daughter Barbara. She enjoyed being around horses, deer hunting, gardening, gambling, riding her own motorcycle. She shared her love of motorcycles with her husband and her son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Terri. Beth liked sharing her artistic ability with her grand-daughter Jamie and trying to beat her grandson Mike playing poker. She enjoyed stopping at her daughter Christine's home for coffee, cookies and conversation. Beth liked to swim in their pool with her granddaughter Lori and to share love and laughter with her two special great grandchildren Logan and Leah. She was a member and past secretary of the Gold Wing Riders. Beth also belonged to Maple Leaf Farms Horse Club and Genesee Sportsmen's Club. She was a member and served as treasurer for the Dale Trailblazers. Survivors include her three children, Barbara (Bill) Lapp, Coloma, Christine (Steve) Cumbers, Wautoma, David (Terri) Jorgensen, Wautoma; grandchildren, Michael Lapp, Green Bay, Lori Lemberger, Wautoma, Jamie (Nick) Mallinger, Waukesha, Jenny (Shawn) Rickert, April, Becky, and Phil Grunwald; great grandchildren, Logan and Leah Lemberger, Alex and Savana Rickert, Chad and Mackenze Grunwald; sisters, Nellie Jorgensen, Saxeville, Joyce Brand, Florida, Beverly (Bill) Wood, Colorado; nieces and nephews, Dick and Cathy Jorgensen, Dennis, Mike, and Sue Brand, Laura and Joe Micklitz, Donna and Bob Kirk, Stacy and Lorrayne Buhrow, Mark, Rob, and Georgiana Wood, Mary and Bob Peterson, Eugene and Donna Nutter and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her inlaws, Nels and Sena Jorgensen; brother, Eugene (Lillie Mae) Nutter; brothers-in-law, Vernon Jorgensen and Howard Brand and other family members. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m
at Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. Inurnment will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Saxeville. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
