Frode Andersen

Frode Erling Andersen, age 81, of Neshkoro, passed away Saturday evening, July 23, 2011 at Wild Rose Hospital.
He was born in Oestrehuse, Hou Parish, Denmark, on May 23, 1930 the son of Jens and Else (Nielsen) Andersen. On November 2, in Iowa he married Cheryl Dawn Bedore, which was on her birthday and the best gift she ever received.
Frode was a painter for 67 years, most recently working for Omni Glass and Paint. He was a member of the Local Painters Union, the Neshkoro Lions Club and was an honorary member of the Neshkoro Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Dawn Andersen of Neshkoro; four children, Jesse (Jean) Andersen of Oshkosh, Johanna Andersen of Oshkosh, Jens (Sandy) Andersen of Oshkosh and Rick (Linda) Andersen of Neshkoro; seven grandchildren, Brian Andersen, Cory (Emily) Andersen, Joshua (Jessica) Andersen, Dawn (Nathan) Frank, Kelsy Andersen, Karen Framnes and Jason Andersen; three great-grandchildren, Aurora Framnes, Tyler Andersen, and Ryan Frank. He is further survived by his special companion "Dickens", other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle and aunt "father and mother" Robert (Emma) Morch-Sorensen, one "brother" Flemming Morch-Sorensen, one cousin Emma Otte and his ex-wife Karen Andersen.
A Time of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 4:00pm until the time of Funeral Services at 7:00pm at the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma, with Pastor Nathan A. Gauerke officiating.
