Frank John Rickinger, age 89, of Menomonee Falls and recently Redgranite, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2018.
Frank will be remembered fondly by his beloved wife of 65 years, Judy (nee Zurawski) and his children John (Laura) Rickinger of Waukesha, Lisa (David) Hoehne of Redgranite, grandchildren John (Jennifer) Rickinger of Marshfield, Rachel (fiancée Justin Weinberg) of Ann Arbor, MI and Sonja (Tim) Liston of Milton, great-grandchildren Erin and Rianne Rickinger and Samuel Liston, sister Rosemary Schmit of Grafton and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Respected and loved by all those in his life, Frank lived a full life. A proud Army veteran and career retail meat cutter, Frank enjoyed connecting with people, sharing stories, and was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. Frank had a passion for woodworking, especially making brightly painted wooden toys. Frank’s easy laugh, genuine joy, and great heart will be dearly missed.
A visitation will take place Tuesday, September 25, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. followed by funeral service and military honors. Guests are invited to a reception until 4:00 p.m. There will be a private interment.
