Frank D. Pica, age 80, of Wautoma, passed away early Wednesday morning, Oct. 24, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. He was born Oct. 19, 1932 in Redgranite, the son of Giuseppe and Carmella (Burella) Pica. He married Mary R. West on Dec. 26, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma. Frank served his country in US Army during the Korean War. He taught Mathematics at Wautoma High School for many years until his retirement in 1991. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma. He is survived by his wife, Mary R. Pica, Wautoma; one brother, Nicholas (June) Pica, Milwaukee; three sisters-in-law, Annette Pica, Redgranite, Kathleen (Juergen) Krueger, Florida, Nancy West, Wautoma; one brother-in-law, Glenn (Carolyn) West, Wautoma; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Theresa (Eugene) Marefka; one brother, Anthony Pica; his nephew, Donald Marefka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with the Rev. Robert L. Stegmann officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark's Catholic Cemetery, Redgranite. Visitation will be held on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
