Frances Bear

Frances E. Bear, age 89, formerly of Wautoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waukesha.
She was born November 24, 1921 in Waukesha, the daughter of Marko and Anna (Nagel) Kokan. She married John Wm. Ericson on October 30, 1947. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1977. She later married George Bear on September 21, 1985. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1985.
Frances was an active member at the Waushara Senior Center and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wautoma for a number of years. She also enjoyed crocheting and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Anthony (Marge) Kokan, Dousman; Martin (Pat) Kokan, Kewaunee; Agnes Carsten, Hot Springs, AK; Maryann Grosskopf, Florida; Caroline Bodiac, Waukesha; Alice (Earl) Schulz, Hustisford; Linda Richardson, Sparta; and Claire (Mel) Germain, Sommerset, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Carl Kokan and one sister Katherine Grundman.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
