Ferdinand Nimphius Jr

Ferdinand J. Nimphius Jr., age 31, of Ripon, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, as the result of a motorcycle accident in the Town of Omro. He was born January 19, 1981 in Fond du Lac, the son of Ferdinand and Linda (Bei) Nimphius Sr.
Ferdinand was a 1999 graduate of Westfield High School. He later graduated from UW-Oshkosh with the degree in Business Economics. Ferdinand was employed as a painter with M&M Painting of Oshkosh. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. He also liked woodworking and computer technology. He is survived by his girlfriend, Jessica Joanis, Ripon; his father, Ferdinand J. Nimphius Sr., Waterford; maternal grandmother, Virginia Bei, Wautoma, paternal grandmother, Betty Nimphius, Wild Rose; one sister, April Nimphius, St. Paul, MN; aunts and uncles, Brad (Paula) Hottenstine, Rick Bei, David (Chris) Bei, Chris (Lisa) Bei, Mary Bei-Posorske, Elizabeth (Frank) Bacchian, Barbara (Marc) Sellenheim, Lauri (Paul) Wagner, Alex (Linda) Nimphius, Mary (John) Horrocks, Joy (Jeff) Moore. He is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Bei; maternal grandfather, Anthony Bei; paternal grandfather, Ferdinand M. Nimphius. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Blaine O. Niskanen officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Newton, Marquette County. Visitation will be held on Sunday from Noon until the time of services at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
