Elizabeth Kramer

Elizabeth Rae Kramer (nee Rindy), age 81, of Wautoma, died peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at her son's home in Berlin.

She was born October 14, 1933 in the Town of Primrose, Dane County, the daughter of Herman and Maude (Hewitt) Rindy. She married Marvin P. Kramer on June 30, 1956 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Mount Horeb. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2006.

Elizabeth received a degree in Education from Wisconsin State College Platteville and taught High School Biology, after which she was proud to stay at home and raise her family. Later, she taught at Moraine Park Technical College, teaching ESL and assisting students in attaining their GED. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma.

She is survived by four children: Thomas (Terri) Kramer, Oshkosh; Paula (Brett) Nordwig, Hartland; Robert (Kim Metzen) Kramer, Berlin; and David (Traci) Kramer, Berlin; grandchildren, MarLee Kramer, Tiffany (Jamie) Chappa, Jamie (Jeremy) Baxter, Stephanie Manthei, Trevor Manthei, Catherine and Ana Nordwig, Amy (Todd Tellock) Kramer, Adam (Anissa) Kramer, Jefferson and Ashley Metzen, Kaytlyn and Mitchell Kramer; great grandchildren, Mallory, Audra, and Avery; one sister, Catherine (Delano) Nybroten, Monroe; one brother, Thomas (Sue) Rindy, Waunakee. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard Rindy Sr. and Larry Rindy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with Rev. David Greskowiak officiating. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, WI.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma and on Saturday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A Parish Prayer Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Waushara County Commodity Food Pantry, 220A Oakridge Court, Wautoma, WI 54982
