Eleanora Thingstead, age 103 of Wild Rose, passed away early Saturday morning, November 5, 2011 at Wild Rose Manor.
She was born September 2, 1908 in Madison, the daughter of Emil and Sophia (Bolstad) Olsen. She married Julius Thingstead on September 5, 1946 in Madison. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1996.
Elnora is survived by her daughter Julie (Ralph) Wiese, Milwaukee; two grandchildren, George (Erin) Cerny, Caledonia and Robert K. Sielski, Milwaukee; four great-grandchildren, Timothy Cerny, Madison Cerny, Nicholas Cerny, and Christopher Sielski; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Elnora Thingstead will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:00am in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her parents at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
