Edward Alexander Menard

Edward Alexander Menard, age 88 of Wautoma died on Monday, April 17, 2023 at ThedaCare Hospital, Wild Rose. He was born in Norway, MI on July 20, 1934 to Delma and Bernice (Calliari) Menard. After high school, Edward joined the United States Marine Corp. On May 29, 1954 he married Shirley Ann Waraksa in Milwaukee. Edward worked for the Milwaukee Police Department and was part of the S.W.A.T until his retirement in 1995 when he and Shirley moved to Wautoma.

Edward is survived by his children: Charmaine (Kenneth) Krause, Joseph Menard; grandchildren: Caitlyn Krause, Kenneth Krause Jr.; sister: Marlene Schultz; niece: Debbie Breen; nephew: Mark (Rita) Schultz; other relatives and his close group of Wautoma friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Shirley Menard and brother-in-law: Ronald Schultz.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11AM at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma followed by Military Honors and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma.
