Edward Drake

Edward R. Drake, age 84 of Wautoma passed away Wednesday evening, October 20, 2010 at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
He was born on November 16, 1925 in Steuben, WI, the son of Len and Velva (Hopwood) Drake. He married Kimiko Kasahara in Tokyo, Japan on October 4, 1966.
Edward served in the United States Navy and later worked in maintenance for the Navy for over 20 years. He was a member of the Wautoma/Waushara Senior Citizens Center, the VFW, AARP, and Fleet Reserve Association. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing card games like Cribbage.
Edward is lovingly survived by his wife, Kimiko of Wautoma, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and James and two sisters Susan and Evelyn.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00am in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma with Rev. Eric Hambrock officiating, followed by a Veterans Tribute by the Wolman-Minskey American Legion Post #317.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00am until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
