Earl Johnson

Earl E. Johnson, age 81, of Wautoma, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
He was born August 8, 1929 in Owen, Wisconsin the son of Earl E. Jones and Vera Vachon. He married Patricia R. Hinn on May 3, 1958 in North Fond du Lac.
Earl and Pat resided in North Fond du Lac for many years where he served on the North Fond du Lac School Board and St. Paul's Lutheran Church Council. Earl attended Michigan Tech were he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Earl was employed for 21 years at Giddings and Lewis of Fond du Lac where he served as vice president of engineering. He later was employed at the Bickford Plant in Kaukauna where he was vice president of sales until he began operating his own business, KJK Associates and later retired in 2001. Earl served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Dakota/Richford American Legion Post 163.
Earl and Pat moved to their home on Crystal Lake in 1978. Earl enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Waushara Country Club, Peace Lutheran Church, Wautoma.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia R. Johnson, Wautoma; two sons, Kurt (Dawn) Johnson, Oshkosh, Korey Johnson, Newburg; one granddaughter, Jade Johnson, Oshkosh; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, two half brothers and two half sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Wautoma. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Peace Lutheran Church, Wautoma.
