Doris M. Schafer, age 71, of rural Almond, passed away Tuesday evening, March 13, 2012 at her home.
She was born May 2, 1941 in the Town of Deerfield, Waushara County, the daughter of Joseph and Viola (Spaulding) Brown. She married Harold J. Schafer.
She is survived by her husband, Harold J. Schafer, Almond; her loving children, Beverly (Albert) Dachel, Brenda (Joseph) Haferman, Glen Schafer, Barb (Robert) Schafer, Ronald (Denise) Schafer, Joann Mundinac, Richard (Tina) Schafer; eight stepchildren; numerous grand children and great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilbur (Karen) Brown; three sisters, Kathy Jacobson, Anna Schwersenska, Eleanor (Roland) Burns; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in the Fish Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home and from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services.
