Donald "Don" Moldenhauer

Donald “Don” Elgard Moldenhauer, age 71 of Neshkoro, passed away on May 7, 2018 at Mercy Medical center, Oshkosh after a long battle with cancer. He was born on April 23, 1947 in Ripon to Elgard and Evelyn (Freiheit) Moldenhauer. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army for 2 years and was honorably discharged. On July 18, 1970 he married Bonnie Wendlandt. Don was employed At J.F. Warnke & Sons for 20 years and then worked for Harry Treder & Sons for another 20 years until his retirement. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Krause-Gley-Crane American Legion Post 423. Don loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a fishing and hunting fanatic, if there was time, he was off to the outdoors he enjoyed tremendously.

Don is survived by his wife: Bonnie Moldenhauer; sons: Travis (Jennifer) Moldenhauer, Chad (Lindsay Folstrom) Moldenhauer; six grandchildren: Trevor, Zachary, Tanner, Brooke, Wyatt, Kelsey; two sisters: Ardis (Gary) Benz, Shirley Wilkins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Darwin and Donna Krause; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Diane.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, Neshkoro. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Friday from 9AM until the time of services at 11AM. Burial and Military Honors will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
