Donald Hass

Donald C. Hass, age 82, of Wautoma, passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 18, 2012 at Wild Rose Manor.
He was born June 4, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edward and Bess (Schneider) Hass. He married the former Caroline M. Wegner
on Oct. 19, 1949 in Wautoma. She preceded him in death on Feb 4, 2004.
He is survived by four children, Irene Werch, Wautoma, Robert Hass, Wautoma, Ronald (Kelly) Hass, Wautoma, and Louise Stapleman (Ken Gomoll), Plainfield; seven grandchildren, KariLee (Derek) Hookana, Jason Werch, Bryan (Jessica) Hass, Nicholas Hass, Jerome Stapleman, Keaton Gomoll, and Brandi Doherty-Hass; seven great grandchildren, Brandon Hass, Taylor Hookana, Hunter Werch, Kael Hass, Kaleah Hass, Haleigh Hass, and Riley Burton. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary; one son, David; his parents, Edward and Bess Hass; two brothers in infancy, and by his parents in-law, Walter
and Lillian Wegner.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Sarah Timian of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in
West Holden Lutheran Cemetery, town of Wautoma.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time
of services at the funeral home.
