Diana M. (Dee Dee) Reabe, age 52, of Plainfield, died suddenly and unexpectedly Friday evening, November 4, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
She was born February 13, 1959 in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of Robert L. and Carol J. (Erdman) LaBarge. She married Jeffrey R. Reabe on June 13, 1981 in Waupun, WI.
Dee Dee was a 1977 graduate of Avonworth High School, Pittsburgh, PA.
She moved to Wisconsin in 1978 where she worked at Big Boy restaurant
until being employed as a machinist at Beloit Corp. She and her husband lived in Waupun , WI. until 1982 when they moved to Plainfield where they raised their family. She worked as a tutor at Tri-County High School. Dee Dee graduated from Mid-State Technical College in 2004 as a Medical Assistant and later became certified by the State of Wisconsin. She was employed by Ministry Medical Group, Amherst since 2005. Dee Dee enjoyed the outdoors especially scuba diving, sailing, and snowmobiling. She was active as Assistant Scout Leader for Plainfield Boy Scout Troop #635 and was involved in many activities with her children. Her greatest achievement was her children and her greatest joy was time with the grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey R. Reabe, Plainfield; four children,
Gretchen (Gary) Budde, New Berlin, Troy (Karen) Reabe, Sheboygan, Heath (Sarah) Reabe, Sheboygan, Tyler Reabe, a student at Winona State University, Winona, MN; three grandchildren, Isaiah, Emersyn, and Josiah; three sisters, Rebecca (John) Steinke, Hudson, WY, Teri (Edward) Birkholz, Cranberry Township, PA, Christina (Steve) Hoffman, Shippensburg, PA; four brothers, Fritz (Regina) LaBarge, Durham, NC, Michael (Janice) LaBarge, Phoenixville, PA, David (Dawn) LaBarge, Wexford, PA, and Edward (Amy) LaBarge, Mercer, PA. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Roger LaBarge; sister-in-law, Kathleen LaBarge, and by her nephew, Joshua Reabe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday November 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waupun. Burial will be at Forest Mound Cemetery,Waupun. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield and on Saturday at the Church in Waupun from 10:00 am until the time of services. A Memorial is being established for Diana's passions in her life.
