Delores married her husband Arnold (Arnie) Wilcox and moved to Mount Morris- Wild Rose in 1968 and soon after gave birth to their only son Richard. They made their living on the family dairy farm where Delores was very active as a homemaker, mother and also took care of her parents by traveling to the Milwaukee area for years and eventually moving into her parents into their home on the farm until their passing. Delores and her husband Arnie farmed until 1989 and Delores remained alone on the farm from the time of Arnie’s passing in 2005-2016 before moving into Rosemore Village, where she remained until the time of her passing.
Delores will best be known for her kind and gentle spirit who loved people and had a remarkable memory. Delores loved to know details about everyone she met and that information would never be forgotten. It was important to her. You were important to her. Connecting to people, remembering special occasions, wishing people well, congratulations or condolences was something that was never missed by Delores.
