Delma Schmeling

Delma Marie Schmeling, age 82, of Wautoma, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis.
She was born March 18, 1931 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Edward and Edith (Johnson) Hagloff. She married Gordon Schmeling on March 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1975
Delma and her late husband resided in Milwaukee for many years before
moving to Pineland Park, rural Wild Rose following the death of her husband. She had lived in Wautoma for the past eight years.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Jim) Haberman, Milwaukee;
one son, William "Bill" Schmeling, Crystal Falls, MI; five grandchildren,
Paul, Clayton, Joshua, Laura, and Billy; seven great grandchildren, Jonathan,
Austin, Ocean, Calvin, Hailey, Ellie, and Dylan; one sister, Helen Wilburth.
She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one
son, Allen Schmeling on February 2, 2008; and by her granddaughter,
Barbara Haberman.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 1:00
until 2:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. Entombment will
