David Fisenne

November 1, 1932 — May 2, 2011

David L. Fisenne, age 78, of Wautoma, passed away Monday evening, May 2, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.

David was born the son of David A. and Lillian (Barnekow) Fisenne. He married Virginia H. Lyons on February 5, 1955 in West Allis.

Mr. Fisenne served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict in the 4th Fighter All Weather Squadron. After serving his country, he was employed by the Milwaukee County Sheriff Department for 20 years.

David enjoyed spending time with his family, woodcarving and cooking.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia H. Fisenne, Wautoma; his daughter, Kathleen Fisenne, Diane (Greg) Reed; his son, David (Wendy) Fisenne; his grandchildren, Jessica and David Reed; his brother-in-law, Donald (Kathleen) Lyons, John (Connie) Lyons, Janice Webber, Tom (Kathy) Lyons and Kathy Lewis; his niece, Ginney (Tom) Kolter and nephew, Rick (friend, Loretta) Waddington; further survived by many other relatives and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ethel Waddington and Elaine Murray.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma with the Rev. Robert L. Stegmann officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Wild Rose Hospital Auxiliary, St. Joseph Catholic Church or Theda Care Home Staff.
