Danny Borland, age 68, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at his home.
He was born May 20, 1952 in Madison the son of Earl H. and Norma M. (Shaw) Borland. He married Dee Caswell on Aug. 5, 1978 in Redgranite.
Danny was a 1970 graduate of Madison East High School. He will be remembered for his love of baseball and enjoyed umpiring area games for 30 years. Danny also enjoyed bowling, camping and being with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Borland, Wautoma; one son, Bryan (Marlena) Borland, Appleton; two grandsons, Dante and Damien; his siblings, Ken (Deb) Gray, Mesa, AZ, Karen (Jon) Nadeau, North Carolina, Kathy (Don) Theis, Tennessee, Beth (Les) Krueger, Berlin, Jan (Joe) Spritka, Redgranite, Roger (Sue) Borland, Berlin, Donna (Bruce) Weiss, Wautoma, Steve (Diane) Borland, Waupaca; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori (Glen) Haroldson, Iola, Gaye (Paul) Mertz, Redgranite, Von Caswell, Berlin, Chad Caswell, Atlanta, GA, and Jim Wachholtz, Rib Lake, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Dean and June Caswell; two sisters, Patricia Borland and Sue Wacholtz; his niece, Christina Weiss; and two nephews, Cody Senz and Aaron Hagen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home with services to follow at 6:00 p.m.
