Daniel J. Brown, age 45, of Hancock, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011. He was born December 28, 1965 in Wautoma, the son of Wilbur and Karen (Schenck) Brown.
Daniel was a 1984 graduate of Tri-County High School, Plainfield. He was employed as a farm laborer in the area for many years. Danny loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Wilbur and Karen Brown, Hancock; one son, Josh Brown Sr., Plainfield; one daughter, Emily Brown, Nekoosa; a grandson, Josh Jr.; three sisters, Sara (Bill) Duckwitz, Mauston, Sandy (Frank) Perez, Hancock, Lisa (Michael) Stecker, Westfield; one niece, Morgan; three nephews, Justin, Cody, and Darren. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. An Open House will be held in Danny's honor from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Hancock Community Center.
